Now that I'm almost 4 weeks post op, thought it was time for an update on an adult tonsillectomy. It was as bad as I had read it would be. No exaggeration. It took a FULL 2 weeks before I was functional. Some advice~ Popsicle are your friend, water and pain killers are your friend... EVERYTHING else is the enemy. You would think I lost weight from not eating for 2 weeks~ sorry to disappoint, 8 pounds! that's IT?! sad. anyhow, I'm all better now! and we're hoping this helps with the constant strep in this house.
