3 little divers

We had a great time at the Rosetta Stone company picnic, next year we'll have to work at getting there earlier! The kids ALL dove off the diving board for the first time. Meg refused to jump unless I did first, it's been awhile since I've done a belly flop from the diving board (ouch) But I pasted a smile on my face and told the kids come on in! it wont hurt! just make sure you go feet first :) The boys didn't listen had red bellies and said 'this water hurts..' We all had a blast though. I wish I had whipped out the camera sooner to snap Eddie and hit cannon ball jumps and holding one ankle in the air poses but I was in the pool laughing :)

bugz!

These are some bugs from OBX ... there were tons of snails on the porch and the kids LOVED playing with them -- they corraled them every morning into the house they made them. The other pic is of the not so welcome bug.

I met the famous Klo!!!

The great american scrapbook convention in Chantilly was great! I took a pazzles class with Klo (the queen of the machine!) and hopefully I can make something interesting now :) Or at least not scream in frustration because I don't read manuals... We found some cute things and Meg kept up to me and g'ma like the trooper she is. good times.

This girl holds the key to my soul.... she keeps me centered and grounded and when I look in her eyes I see my reason for being on this earth. I'm sure one day soon she'll look at me with scorn and anger and pity at my ignorance but for this moment... right now.... I'm the center of her world still. And when things get hard, I want to look back on this and think it was all so worth it. No matter what.
